What is a Technoholic Pastor?

I guess I have to define the term if I'm going to write about it. My name is Regan and I'm a technoholic. I am addicted to technology. But I'm also a pastor, called to show and tell the Gospel of Jesus Christ to my church, my family, and everyone else I meet.

This blog is my feeble attempt to use my love for technology for good and not evil. Being a follower of Jesus means being able and willing to give up material things for His sake. And I will give up my tech, if Jesus calls me to. (I can't believe I just wrote that.) But while I have the opportunity to use it, I seek to use tech for the purpose of ministry.

In this blog, I hope to share my thoughts on current and upcoming technology from the perspective of a pastor and fan. I will share the ways that I use different kinds of tech as a pastor, and how it has helped. And, I may even talk about other issues of the Christian faith and theology that have little to do with technology at all.

So that's the plan. I doubt I'll be great at keeping this updated or interesting. But it's worth a shot. After all, I can blog from any of my computers, Android phone, or tablet. So you'd think I'd find a way.
